Cinema returns to Phillip Island in what will be a great boost to the Phillip Island community and holiday makers during the Summer season.
The Rhyll Community Cinema will operate from 4th January 2017 to 26th January 2017 providing both an indoor and outdoor cinema experience with a selection of the latest movies and some all-time favourites. The emphasis is on providing a selection of movies for the whole family. The full summer season schedule is available at https://movingpictures.yapsody.com/.
Rhyll Community Cinema is a joint initiative between Moving Pictures Cinema and Rhyll Community Association. The indoor venue is the Rhyll Community Hall which seats 100 people and uses a 3 metre screen, while the outdoor sessions are held under the stars in the adjacent Rhyll Park using the large 6 metre screen. All cinema experiences utilise state of the art cinema quality speakers and digital projection.
You will be able to purchase popcorn, fairy floss, coffee, soft drink and other food items from the concessions stands. Please note that the Rhyll Community Cinema is alcohol free.
There will be a wide selection of more than 20 movies across the Summer season so whether it’s The Jungle Book, Finding Dory, Back to The Future or The Martian bring the family down to Rhyll Community Cinema. To avoid disappointment we urge you to pre-book on-line at https://movingpictures.yapsody.com/, particularly for the indoor sessions, as it is expected that the return of cinema to Phillip Island will be very popular over the Summer season.
